Stephanie handles a diverse range of legal matters, including estate planning, probate administration and litigation, divorce and parenting issues, personal injury, business formation, dissolution, transactions and disputes, and immigration issues. Stephanie is licensed to practice law in both Colorado and Missouri, and works in Levin Jacobson Japha’s Kansas City office. She is committed to building strong relationships with her clients, and listens carefully to the concerns that bring them into her office in order to provide them with thoughtful & thorough legal guidance throughout the course of every representation.
Stephanie graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law in 2011. Stephanie was selected as a 2009 Sonnenschein Scholar based on her academic performance, commitment to public service, and leadership skills. Stephanie served as a judicial intern for the Kansas City Immigration Court in 2009, and later worked as an intern in the Legal Department for the City of Kansas City. During her second year in law school, Stephanie obtained Rule 13 certification from the Missouri Bar of Law Examiners to represent the State of Missouri as an intern for the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office in the Child Support Enforcement Division. Stephanie also served as a Research Editor for The Urban Lawyer, an Emissary for the School of Law, and the recruitment chair for Phi Delta Phi Honors Legal Fraternity.
Before law school, Stephanie taught English to college freshmen and sophomores at Hebei University of Science & Technology in Shijiazhuang, China. Stephanie obtained her B.A. from Drake University in English/Writing and Law, Politics & Society in 2007. Stephanie was a member of the Alpha Lambda chapter of Delta Gamma at Drake. During her sophomore year at Drake, Stephanie studied abroad in Toulouse, France in 2005, where she passed the ACTFL proficiency test in French with a score of superior.
